About Bath Bridge SchoolBath Bridge School was formed in 2007, More Teaching Course are given by Phil Cooke. He has many years of experience in teaching challenging subjects in an easy to understand and informal way. Phil is also a member of The Association of Wine Educators. He is an EBU (English Bridge Union) qualified Bridge Teacher & Tournament Director. Suitable? Over the last few years the bridge courses, and play and learn sessions have catered for beginners and many who were already playing bridge, but wanted to improve and extend their playing circle. The backgrounds of those attending include:
Venue Courses and Monday bridge are held at The Museum of Bath at Work in central Bath, near to the Assembly Rooms and Park & Ride bus stops. Some of those attending previous courses and the social bridge on a Monday live within walking distance, but many come from the surrounding area, including, Frome, Bradford on Avon, Trowbridge, Keynsham, Bathford, Corsham, Norton St Philips, Freshford, Beckington, Coombe Hay, and as far afield as Sherborne, Mere & Chipenham. |
